4天工作制是打工仔的夢想，現在一間佛州的亞洲餐廳大膽採用這上班時間表，大受員工歡迎，不單解決缺工問題，餐廳也獲得了30%營業增長回報，侍應亦得到更多小費。
新冠疫情催生很多國家和大公司實行彈性上班制，據坦帕灣新聞網站 Creative Loafing周二(23日)報道，當地的一家餐廳Chop Chop Shop實行4天工作周，以期在勞動力短缺的情況下留住員工。
Chop Chop Shop在2013年開業，過去的3個月裡，編排全職廚房員工每周工作4天、每天工作10 小時。
東主塞拉(Steve Sera)表示，這個大膽嘗試，主要目的是挽留廚房員工，與及藉此吸引更多人應徵，「這樣便可避免員工工作過勞，又不怕令他們收入減少。」
結果，員工能享有工作與生活平衡的人生之餘，也提升上班意欲，廚房由原本只有4名員工，聘到足夠的8人團隊。
此舉使餐廳可以由每周5天營業回復至7天，每天開門12小時，收入增長30%，侍應也得到更多小費。
塞拉指出，餐廳員工在惡劣的環境下工作，時間長，壓力大，現在他們連續3天休息，可以重拾個人生活。
Chop Chop Shop計劃下一步也容許侍應4天工作。
